The story goes that Filomeni fell out of the second story bathroom window on Residence Street. Grandma Gurto, 10 days before she gave birth to Uncle Tony Gurto, apparently picked Filomina up and ran all the way to the hospital with her. (2.7 miles) They told her that Filomena had died, but we later found out that she actually died the next day.
