Obituaries and Memories - The Babies

The mention of my child’s name may bring tears to my eyes, but it never fails to bring music to my heart.

Let me hear their name, it soothes my broken heart.

  • Little Angels

    When God takes little children
    To dwell with him above.
    We mortals sometimes question
    The wisdom of His love.

    For no heartache compares with
The death of one small child
Who does so much to make our world
    Seem wonderful and mild.

    Perhaps God tires of calling
    The aged to His fold,
So He picks a little rosebud
    Before it can grow old.

God knows how much we need them,
So He takes but a few
To make the land of heaven
    More beautiful to view.

    Believing this is difficult
    Still, somehow we must try,
    The saddest word mankind knows
    Will always be “goodbye”.

So when a little child departs,
    We who are left behind
    Must realize God loves children…
    Angels are hard to find.

    Dear Mommy and Daddy:

I just wanted to let you know
    That I made it home.
The Journey wasn’t an easy one,
But it didn’t take too long.

    Everything is so pretty here,
So white. So fresh and new.
I wish that you could close your eyes
And that you could see it too.

Please try not to be sad for me,
    Try to understand.
God is taking care of me –
I’m in the shelter of His hands.

    Here there is no sadness,
    no sorrow and no pain.
    Here there is no crying
    And I’ll never hurt again.

    Here it is so peaceful
    When all the angels sing.
I really have to go for now –
I’ve just got to try my wings.

    Alexander

  • As I update the memory pages, I have time to think of each and every one of our family who has passed. Here’s a photo of little Harlee.
